Congress activities are complemented by the social programme. It comprises the conference dinner and the accompanying persons programme. In this programme, the partners and family members accompanying the registered delegates are offered the following activities:
Guided tours to Oviedo and Gijón

| Visit (indoor and outdoor) to the Pre-Romanesque Monuments of the Naranco: Santa María y San Miguel de Lillo. | ||
| Bus tour of Oviedo. | ||
| Visit to the Catedral del Salvador (Asturias cathedral) and the Cámara Santa | ||
| Guided visit to the old part of Oviedo (casco antiguo) (squares, palaces, churches, etc.). Outdoor walking tour. | ||

| 18th July: guided visit to Gijón | ||
| 10:00 h | Departure |  |
| Guided visit to the Universidad Laboral, including its 70 m high tower, one of the main sightseeing points of Gijón (duration: 60 min). | ||
| Bus tour of Gijón: Providencia, San Lorenzo seafront, marina, etc. | ||
| Guided visit to the old part of Gijón (casco histórico): Cimadevilla, the old "barrio de pescadores y cigarreras". The Roman thermae. Outdoor walking tour. | ||

Guided tours will be run in Spanish, although some additional explanations will be given in English upon participants´request. Should a large enough group of English speaking persons registered, an English-run group would be formed.
Registration to these tours will be done through the Technical Secretariat (contact Roberto J. González Fernández).
Las Caldas Villa Termal
In addition to the above described activities, Las Caldas Villa Termal offers a selection of spa activities to the Congress attendees and to their acompanying persons at a special reduced rate (click here to download a brochure).
